Come along for a walk on my boardwalk in New York as a beautiful Long Island sunset acts as a backdrop for exciting views of a powered parachute flying by while I get up close and personal with a mama deer and her baby.
Then watch birds and boats pass by me at the beach while the colors of dusk fill the sky.
It is another windy day though much less so than the last two days. Walking by the bay windows I saw this pelican come into view. I managed to fire up the iPhone 7 to get this short clip of the bird and the magnificent day.
Way to go Mark Zuckerberg, turning a jolly light afternoon into one of extreme irritation. FU. Frankly, Underwhelmed by the ‘intelligence’ of FaceBook engineers.
Beautiful summer day on Long Island, New York, at my blessed home. Looking out the sliding doors I saw a reminder of why I love having planted four butterfly bushes years ago. They grow massive and even 12 feet tall or higher before being trimmed by the landscapers. Some days they’re covered in monarch butterflies. The bushes, not the landscapers. 😄
Today I saw these two bright yellow and dark blue spotted ones despite it being a windy day. I was able to get close to them and record, create and upload this fun little movie right from my iPhone 6S+. NO color editing or setting or filter of Any kind.
I saw these dual storm cloud type formations seeming to emerge from the same point West-South-West of my home, seeming to want to engulf me from all sides.
This cruise ship was literally more than 20 miles away when I captured it
This cruise ship was literally more than 20 miles away when I captured it going past where the sun was totally behind it and clouds. The Nikon D300 handheld photo at 300/450mm eq. zoom shows the magic even of “dull” sunsets over Tampa Bay, seen from my blessed home at Apollo Beach. The trees to the left are straight across from my home but a long drive to get to at a popular state park, at the edge of the peninsula there.
The aroused engorged green probing parting pushing penetrating the tender pinkish petals opening as a purple nub yearns to be brought to ecstasy…
This gorgeous #Florida #flowers photo was just too good not to post. Yes you do have a dirty mind 🙂 … because beautiful flowers do grow in the dirt. Yes it does look like some sort of X-rated inter-“racial” intimacy. How beautiful is that! What can be more beautiful than chocolate covering vanilla and filling it with cream? 🙂 LOL The aroused engorged green probing parting pushing penetrating the tender pinkish petals opening as a purple nub yearns to be brought to ecstasy. Hey, I don’t know what you’re thinking. I’m describing two potted plants here! OK OK, so I saw the plants and had the idea, so I did move the plants a little bit closer at the Home Depot. 🙂 Sort of like doing an intimate photo shoot in a public place. 🙂 🙂
at the height of the season they are surrounded by Monarch and other butterflies
Not long after I had built my blessed home on Long Island, I was at a Home Depot in the area and picked up two small butterfly bush plants. They were barely six inches tall each. I am so glad I planted them because not they are nearly twelve feet tall, reaching up to my upper deck.
In summer their aroma always makes me stop to smell the non-roses, and at the height of the season they are surrounded by Monarch and other butterflies.
This is a half crop of a 14MB original RAW file from my now 7 years old Nikon D300.
