…stunning shades of dusk and magical clouds against the beautiful boating scene…
Walking back home from the beach, after yesterday’s gorgeous sunset livestream, I took the longer part of the boardwalk back home.
This way I could catch the stunning shades of dusk and magical clouds against the beautiful boating scene at my boat slip.
My neighbor’s sailboat enhanced the view.

Sunset Boardwalk Beach Walk. Deer. ParaGliders. Long Island. LiveStream – IMRAN™
Come along for a walk on my boardwalk in New York as a beautiful Long Island sunset acts as a backdrop for exciting views of a powered parachute flying by while I get up close and personal with a mama deer and her baby.
Then watch birds and boats pass by me at the beach while the colors of dusk fill the sky.

photo, taken at sunset tonight, shows how big these things are even though while boating they can be hard to spot
Oh, B(u)oy! Buoy 36 is actually supposed to mark the marine channel in the Great South Bay about half a mile away South of my beach, midpoint between my home and Davis Park & Watch Hill on Fire Island. It is the buoy that I have used as a reference point hundreds of times while boatingin the last 20 years, to turn from the main channel towards my home and marina.
During a recent windy day it appears to have become dislodged and floated its way to the private beach at my home community. This WindowsPhone Lumia 1020 photo, taken at sunset tonight, shows how big these things are even though while boating they can be hard to spot in the distance. Hopefully no boaters are using it for late night navigation or they will definitely run aground to shouts of “Oh, BoyI Oh, Buoy! Oh, $#!^!”

Stunning Long Island New York Beach At Home Imran Anwar
As the cold air starts to creep in from the North, the sun starts to slide to set more over the water than land on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. The moisture squeezed out of the air also makes for crisper cooler air to breathe in but also for sharper photographs. Dusk scene at my blessed home beach in NY, taken with my new WindowsPhone Lumia 1020.
Unedited iPhone 4S photo taken across from my blessed home at sunset, as the only other mariner out there also heads home.
There’s nothing that makes my spirits soar than flying over ocean beaches and yachting havens, in, under and through blue skies… except yachting and sailing in New York even in mid-December, under fiery red skies turning the cold calm Great South Bay waters beneath me bubbling hot liquid Gold. Unedited iPhone 4S photo taken across from my blessed home at sunset, as the only other mariner out there also heads home.

Vision of life, hope, dreams, and more.
Fire Bird Birth From Fiery Sun OR Flying Into A Dark But Bright Future?
Is it the birth by fire of a new Fire Bird? Or a dark angel looming above, bringing misgivings? Or the power of dreams flying into a dark, monstrous, malevolent cloud formation — just beyond which is the promise of pure light and brightness. And just beyond that, visions of God?
The thunder cloud’s malevolence separated from the life-giving sun by the razor edge of hope and miracle. A possibility of coming out from storms into the light, however briefly, at least until the final sunset on a life of fantastic flights of fantasy.
Or a little bit of it all?
Smith Point Beach in Long Island, NY is a favorite place of mine to catch sunsets over expansive vistas of water. This time we were there ahead of time and I shot some pictures waiting for the sun to set.
As this bird came towards me, somewhat like the apparition of one Alexander the Great sees in the movie ALEXANDER, the silhouette came into focus. I clicked and snapped a mesmerizing image.
