Shooting (Into & For The) Stars! – IMRAN™

Posted by imrananwar on February 19, 2016

I love flying. And I love even more visions of the universe, like shuddering lovers and shooting stars.

So I appreciated the video of a pilot flying over Manhattan capturing a shooting star in front of his plane. But as I was just going to post the video link, I realized something so profound that I shuddered in emotion at the incredible thoughts I felt, which I am sharing with you as they fill my soul.

I am blessed to see shooting stars on a fairly regular basis since I was a kid. But at least twice in my life, both times walking to the beach on the boardwalk of my blessed Long Island home, where I am writing these words, I saw such massive shooting stars, which stayed visible for literally 5-10 seconds each, they left me gasping for breath in amazement and excitement.

The most recent one was experienced while a beautiful beloved and I walked holding hands to my spot of magical memories on the private beach, on a late fall evening recently, when we were stunned by the sight which we were able to soak into our souls, and then commemorate, as two specks of living dust glowing forever, at the beach, under starlight, with our afterglow radiating and filling the vast emptiness of space with an explosive release of sizzling white-hot shooting photons of passion that some distant galaxy’s inhabitants may see one day millions of years in the future, and be amazed at how significantly we mortal human beings, insignificant in the scope of the universe, loved those significant to us.

The universal ultimate in exhibitionism, beyond what the human eye can see or any living voyeur today can experience. Magic stains left on fabric of time and space, for eternity…..

The previous time the shooting star had been even more massive… almost a poetic Armageddon sized fireball. I was on the phone with a then-girlfriend, and I literally was yelling “Oh my God, Oh MY God. Oh my God that shooting star is so massive falling out of the sky…”

Then it actually exploded, in a blaze of glory and left an even longer thinner streak of its probably millions of years of existence erased within seconds for possibly just Me, a mere mortal, to have witnessed in the entire universe at that moment!

What a moment… the infinitely long life of that starry object ending in just a few seconds of my much shorter human lifetime, but etched in my mind for all eternity, burned into the cosmos for even when I am nothing but a streak of light in the sky, when it is my time to turn into dust and starlight, just like the visions and passion of all those deep penetrating unions with my precious beloveds, consummated during hard daylight hours and in moist velvety nights, each a gift from the heavens, unwrapped, unsealed, probed, explored, experienced and resealed with a kiss, at the beach under starlight which will continue to travel through the universe forever, at the speed of love, and light.

God speed to us, my loves.

Out Of This World Views On Religion, Space & Terrorism! – IMRAN™

Posted by imrananwar on November 23, 2015

Non-Muslims worry that the sons of swines members of #ISIS somehow represent all 1.5 Billion Muslims. If their actions make all Muslims #terrorists then the thousands of child rapes by countless Christian priests in Churches worldwide, including here in America, would mean all Christians are pedophile child rapists. Are they?

Keep in mind Muslims are united in believing only a few things. There’s only One God (Allah in Arabic) that Adam, Nosh, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad brought the message of. They believe in Mohammad as the final prophet in that line. They believe in the day of judgement, heaven and hell. And they believe that the broken roads in their countries, the electricity power failures, their internal bribery driven corrupt cultures, and probably even solar flares are all due to a Zionist conspiracy.

Everything else that can be disagreed on, is disagreed on.

As most people living in #Pakistan know, we #Muslims can’t even sometimes agree which day our #Eid#holiday falls on, with greedy halvah-swallowing mullahs play with telescopes arguing about sighting of the new #moon, here on Earth, which only has one moon.

#God help us if we lived on #Saturn which has 62 moons orbiting it! Talk about #Religion making your head spin. We already have dozens, if not hundreds, of Muslim sects, condemning each other to hell for the way they stand in prayers, or the length of their pants/bottoms. Imagine a Muslim astronaut being told he’s going to hell because his spacesuit shows or conceals his ankles the wrong way.

So, my fellow human beings and especially Christian or non-Muslim friends, the planet’s Muslims are ISIS as much as you are a pedophile. Meaning, don’t go for the foaming at the mouth neo-con hate-mongers whose words of hate about Muslims would get them thrown out of their jobs if they said them about Jews or other groups. All of us, all decent people, of all religions are under threat of ISIS.

Is there an increased risk, even near certainty, of ISIS wolf packs and lone wolves killing innocent people in our countries? Yes, unfortunately, certainly there is. But even here in America our biggest killers remain handguns and drunk drivers way more than any terrorist groups. But no one wants to pay attention to or stop those killers.

If anything, the evil ISIS, AlQaeda, Taliban, Boko Haram, have killed 100,000s more Muslims than they have barbarically and un-Islamically murdered non-Muslims. But 100,000 Muslims killed by terrorists in Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, etc. get 2 inches of newspaper space on Page 5.

When terrorists kill anywhere from 10-100 in a place like Paris, it becomes a global tragedy. That in itself plays right into the terrorists hands who will obviously want to carry out attacks that get news coverage.

Even worse are the media hypocrisy and dual standards of justice we show. When a non-Muslims murders 30 (thirty) people in an attack, he is an “alleged shooter”. If a so-called Muslim kills 3, repeat three, people, it is a massacre by a terrorists. The non-Muslim who kills 30 gets life in prison.

The moron younger brother involved in the deaths of 3 people in the Boston Marathon was declared a terrorist who got the death penalty even in bleeding heart (hypocrite) liberal Massachusetts.

All this plays right into the hands of AlQaeda and ISIS as “proof the West hates Muslims” and gets them even more recruitment success. That puts us all at even greater risk of terror attacks here.

May my fellow Americans who are maligning all Muslims and Islam for the actions of ISIS wake up and smell the coffee of logic and facts. And, may these ISIS type terrorists be pelted with 62 Saturn sized spinning fireballs in Hell when they think they’re getting 72 hot virgins to take for a spin. Amen x 72 x 62!

What do you think?

Orion’s Belt Over Nebulous New York Times

On A Starry Night Calm Orion's Belt Wraps An Eternal Eye Over Nebulous Tumultuous New York Times - IMRAN™

On A Starry Night Calm Orion’s Belt Wraps An Eternal Eye Over Nebulous Tumultuous New York Times

It is appropriate that the photo I took after catching the glittering skyline of earth’s shining star, Manhattan, and the stars of Broadway and Times Square, is a timeless shot of the stars lining the sky. (See larger size to make out details of nebula, etc. )

They were beyond my grasp but it is just who we are, needing to reach for the stars, across the reaches of time, the vastness of eternity. So, I caught them, the cold cruel burning cores of Hydrogen, for me and you for today, and for forever etched onto the Silicon atoms of my camera’s memory … and the infinite neurons making up my memories in this so finite life.

The sky was particularly dark on this moonless night tonight. There was moisture in the air as a Southern wind was riding the Great South Bay, churning the water onto the beach in tumultuous waves of passion.

Far above, silently watching, the stars burnt in an amazing range of colors you could make out with the naked eye. Even the nebullae visible told their nebulous stories in clear thundering silence. I bowed in prayer, a murmur of thanks, to God, for having allowed me this moment to have lived, witnessed, experienced.

I was able to capture this shot with the Nikon D300 with no filters. This picture is as it was taken. See in full size in ALL SIZES if you see the button above.

Simonyi’s INTENTIONAL Software History Revision?

Posted by imrananwar on June 25, 2008

I am shocked that InformationWeek would allow the publication of an interview with someone without questioning some wild claims, or possible untruths, the person made in a High Five interview with J. Nicholas Hoover on August 20, 2007.

It’s bad enough that Microsoft still cannot even successfully COPY others’ products (anyone know how to spell ZUNE), still has its vision coming from people who thought 640KB RAM was enough for everyone and the Internet was a fad, and is a company that continues to blatantly practice anti-competitive behavior as showed by the recent court findings against it in many places.

But, Charles Simonyi, now of Intentional Software, and an ex-Microsoft executive, is either delusional or intentionally revising history of the tech industry. In his HIGH FIVE Interview in InformationWeek recently, he makes the laughable claim that Microsoft was working on the GUI (graphical user interface) and trying to sell computer mice way before Apple.

If only I could dig up an old letter from Microsoft to me, in response to the offer I made to license them a mouse I had invented for disabled computer users in the 1980’s. Microsoft’s management had clearly stated to me in writing and a follow up conversation, that Microsoft had no desire or intention of ever selling hardware or computer mice as they did not see a fit with their business!

Mr. Simonyi has the money to buy a trip to space, but is either now spaced out, or just high, or just not “intentionally” truthful in his claims in the InformationWeek High Five interview. The InformationWeek writer should have dug deeper on that question but seems to have let it slide.
